Gathered Earth

Gathered Earth explores the quiet beauty of the natural world through layered veils of earthy ochres, siennas, charcoal and soft stone hues. Fluid forms drift across the canvas, evoking distant landscapes, weathered terrain and the slow shaping forces of time.

Rather than depicting a specific place, the work invites a sense of remembrance—of ancient valleys, rugged horizons and the enduring connection between land and self.

Translucent layers emerge and recede, creating a feeling of depth and movement, while darker passages anchor the composition with a grounding presence.

Gathered Earth is a meditation on stillness, resilience and belonging. It speaks to the way the earth holds countless stories within its contours, offering a quiet space for reflection, contemplation and connection.
