Part of the Aurora Series, Depth of Silence draws the eye into a luminous field of layered blues, where soft veils of colour seem to drift, dissolve and emerge from the darkness beneath.

There is a sense of immense depth within the work - somewhere between deep water, distant atmosphere and an unfolding night sky. Subtle transitions from radiant turquoise and cobalt into inky indigo create a feeling of floating in a realm of deep peace, as though light is slowly travelling through an otherwise quiet space.

Rather than depicting a particular place, Depth of Silence invites contemplation. Its shifting forms leave room for the viewer to find their own landscape within it - a moment of stillness, immersion and calm.
