Dusk Garden

Dusk Garden - original
Acrylic on canvas.
68x68cm (framed size), in Tasmanian oak float frame.

Dusk Garden captures the hour when the last warmth of the day drifts into evening. Veils of rose and magenta soften through violet into deep, velvety blue, while at the heart of the canvas a cluster of luminous forms glows white and peach, like blossoms still holding the light as the garden falls quiet.

Translucent orbs overlap, merge and dissolve across the surface, each one gently shifting the colours beneath it. A single teal-green form rises in the lower half of the composition, a cool note of new growth resting within the deepening blue.

Part of the Chromatic Bloom series, this work explores colour, light and transformation. It suggests petals closing at twilight, light moving through water, or the first stars appearing above an imagined garden, inviting the eye to wander and the mind to settle.

Rich yet serene, Dusk Garden brings warmth, depth and a gentle sense of wonder to contemporary interiors. It is ideal for collectors seeking calming abstract art with a luminous, uplifting presence.
